Solidly conservative and a rising star in Congress, it is imperative that Chip Roy gets sent back to Washington.

Conservative First is once again proud to endorse Representative Chip Roy of Texas’ 21st Congressional District in the general election being held on Tuesday November 3, 2020.

What makes this seat so important is that Rep. Roy’s opponent this time around is radical late-term abortionist Wendy Davis who ran for Texas governor in 2014 against Greg Abbott and was historically trounced. She is back in 2020 to try and take her radical views to Washington and compliment the likes of Omar, Ocasio-Cortez, Tlaib, and of course the leader of all the radicals, Nancy Pelosi.

After 30 years of being represented in Washington, D.C. by an establishment moderate, the citizens of this district sent constitutional conservative Chip Roy to Congress and the results have been quite impressive.

Since arriving in the swamp, Rep. Chip Roy has been a fiscally responsible stalwart. In May 2019, he single-handedly derailed the $19 trillion disaster relief bill. Roy objected to the rapid speed the measure moved through a nearly-empty chamber, complained it wasn’t paid for, and challenged the decision not to include President Trump’s $4.5 billion request for dealing with the migrant crisis on the U.S.-Mexico border. He drew fire on both sides of the aisle for doing so but Rep. Roy does what it is right, not what is politically expedient.

The four main principles that Rep. Roy has identified on his website are solidly conservative. Issues such as the budget, veterans care, healthcare freedom, and immigration are so important not only to the Lone Star State but to the nation as well.

Far too many citizens, especially in districts President Trump won in 2016, voted for Democrats in 2018 and we have seen the damage those radical leftists have inflicted upon our republic as a result. We cannot let that happen again in 2020.

The state of Texas wields considerable sway in national politics and it is vital that the people of the 21st Congressional District send constitutional conservative Chip Roy back to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2020.
