The Republican Party still does not get it and never will.
Despite an overwhelming victory on November 5th, the establishment swamp dwellers in D.C. fail to realize that the American people gave the incoming Trump Administration a mandate. And yet, two weeks later, the cowards who call themselves U.S. Senators (not all of course…thank you Mike Lee, Rick Scott, Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley and a few others) are afraid of what the media and the leftist Marxists inside the Democrat Party (we repeat ourselves) and fail to understand the 2024 election.
Case in point, The Hill newspaper wrote today about three senators, Wicker, Rounds, and Lummis, all establishment moderates, are relieved that Matt Gaetz withdrew his name for consideration for President-elect Trump’s Attorney General. Set aside the noise from allegations following Mr. Gaetz. We know that the establishment (here’s looking at you Kevin McCarthy) would still oppose his nomination regardless because he is the exact type of person needed to clean up the Department of Justice swamp and eliminate the odorous stench permeating from it.
A word of advice to the Trump Administration. Select another candidate for Attorney General who will put even more fear into the GOP establishment, Democrats, and the media. Do not cave!
Last word to the Republicans in Congress: Get on board with the MAGA movement or suffer the consequences the next time your seat is up for re-election. The American people resoundingly made it known they want to destroy (figuratively) the swamp and the status quo.
Stop talking for a moment and listen.
