Make no mistake, the college campus protests are about one thing: hatred of the United States.
Many conservatives, including ones we admire and support like Sen. Ted Cruz, have called on the police and our elected leaders and governors to dismantle the encampments and to bring law and order to our higher education institutions. And we agree.
However, these protests are not just about anti-semitism or Israel’s quest to destroy Hamas. Anti-semitism has no place in our society and the war to destroy Hamas should be supported by any humane person. What took place on October 7th was heinous
.
But let us not forget how we got to this point. Or more accurately, how we arrived here once again. These protesters are the same radicals from 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 years ago who hate the United States and hate what it stands for and what we patriots love about this great country. Freedom, free markets, liberty, etc.
As we watch our TVs, phones, and tablets with the latest updates on the protesters encamped on our college campuses, remember which side they are on. Easy to say they hate Israel and the Jewish people, both true. But also remember they hate America and are on the same side as President Biden, George Soros, Reps. Omar and Tlaib and others who want to fundamentally transform America.
Just ask Barack Obama when he declared that sentiment when he was president.
You don’t fundamentally transform something you love.
Conservatives, as horrified and angry as we might be at what is taking place, should take a step back and enjoy the chaos.
At least for this time, it will benefit us politically in 2024.
