Please stop with the “Sen. Fetterman needs to be saved in the primary” nonsense.

It makes absolutely no sense. Sure he is the one sane voice in the Democrat party today but he is still a Democrat and gives Chucky Schumer a 70-80% reliable vote for the progressive agenda. Also, by caucusing with the Democrats, it gives them one more seat closer to the majority.

We’ve heard leading conservative voices on radio and television suggesting they may support Fetterman (looking at you Mr. Levin) in the primary against a communist opponent, depending on who the GOP puts up to go against him.

We’ve been on record many, many times that the battle happens in the primary and we will support in the general election, however reluctantly, the Republican who wins the primary. But we will not support a “moderate” or reasonable Democrat against a Republican if it means that the Senate or House majority would be in jeopardy.

Should the senator decide to switch parties, or at least become an Independent with a commitment to caucus with the GOP, then that’s a different situation and yes, we should support him if a solid conservative option is not viable.

Sen. John Fetterman doesn’t need saved. He is a smart, capable man who can decide for himself if he wants to be a part of a Marxist party. Saving him only allows the Democrats to be in close range to win the Senate and deny President Trump’s agenda.
