Conservative FIRST is once again proud to endorse Rep. John James in his 2024 bid for re-election to serve Michigan’s 10th Congressional District constituents.
Rep. John James was a successful businessman and West Point graduate who served our great nation for eight years. He believes strongly in defending the U.S. Constitution and curbing the size of the federal government through a balanced budget and by reforming our entitlements. Also, he strongly supports our 2nd Amendment rights which are currently under assault.
Congressman James seeks to empower Michigan in the state’s quest to regain its place, as it once was, as one of the most technologically, culturally, and prosperous states of the Union.
In January of 2024, Rep. James helped push Congress to defeat President Biden’s Comply-or-Die Electric Vehicle Mandates. He stated:
“As a former automotive supplier, I understand the automotive supply chain intimately. I also represent the heart of Michigan’s auto manufacturing industry,” James said. “The Biden Administration’s forced transition to electric vehicles—the ‘comply or die’ mandate being pushed down from the federal government to everyone, from dealers to mechanics to suppliers of all shapes and sizes—will absolutely crater the economy, not to mention trample Americans’ choice in the car they drive. The Constitution gives Congress the power of the purse, and I hope leadership will use that tool to curb this administration’s rogue use of federal rulemaking.”

In July of 2024, the Congressman voted for H. Res 1371 which condemned the Biden Administration, specifically “Border Czar” Kamala Harris for failing to secure the border, which along with the economy, is a major issue in 2024.
Michigan will once again be crucial to helping former President Donald J. Trump return to the White House and Rep. John James back to Washington. By casting their votes for both men, the citizens of Michigan can send a signal to “the powers that be” that they are tired of the status quo of high inflation, open borders, and devastating EPA mandates that will cripple the automobile business.
Rep. John James is a leader and a conservative patriot and Michigan voters can send him back to Washington in November.
